Opened in May 2011, Glow is a tiny rustic bistro occupying a former sailboat repair shop. Chef/Owners Karey Butterworth and David Swartwout offer simple seasonal coastal cooking, featuring local seafood as well as Texas game. Glow also offers a full catering service for offsite events, cooking classes and a venue for private meetings and celebrations. Guests can enjoy a relaxing meal in the bright airy dining room, cozy bar and covered porch and garden overlooking Little Bay.

Glow is highly involved in the local community though fundraisers and donations including Read to Shine, Rotary Club, Humane Society, American Heart Society, Rockport Center for the Arts, The Texas Maritime Museum and other non-profit organizations. Glow also provides a scholarship program supporting local high school students for college tuition.
